Seth Harrell is a native of Middle Tennessee who considers himself an aviation professional first and an attorney second. Seth graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, where he majored in Aviation Administration and minored in Political Science. While there, he served as an At-Large Senator to the Student Government Association, an Aerospace Student Ambassador, a Delegate to the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature, and a Delegate to the University Aviation Association Policy Seminar in Washington, D.C.

He then went on to work at one of the "big-three" airlines, where he worked in a department handling day-of-departure passenger yield strategies, ensuring DOT consumer protection compliance in overbooking and denied boarding situations, while making the most lucrative forecasting and yielding decisions. He also contributed to the Department of Transportation's quarterly Air Travel Consumer Report.

He then served in a more senior revenue management role at a South Florida-based passenger train company, Brightline Trains, LLC, throughout their expansion from South Florida to Orlando. While in South Florida, he decided to finally answer the calling to attend law school. While in law school, he served on the Student Bar Association, clerked at Florida's Fourth District Court of Appeal, and worked at a mid-size aviation law firm.

In his free time, you can find him at the pickleball courts. He also enjoys playing golf, cheering on the Nashville Predators, and trying new foods. He is a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.

While at Thompson Burton, he is continuing his legal education at the University of Mississippi School of Law's Center for Air and Space Law.
