Biography
Emily is an Associate in Thompson Burton's Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy practice groups, working alongside some of the Firm's top commercial and appellate litigators.
Emily graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law. While at Alabama Law, she served as Vice President of the Alabama Trial Advocacy Board and as a Senior Editor for the Alabama Law Review. She was also named to the Order of Barristers and received Alabama Law's Most Promising Future Trial Lawyer award from the American College of Trial Lawyers.
In 2022, Emily graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama, where she majored in Economics and International Studies with a minor in Russian.
Outside of her law practice, Emily enjoys creative writing, watching Alabama football, and traveling abroad. She can often be found in Nashville with her longtime boyfriend, exploring the city's best food and music.
