Dave Eckelmann joined Thompson Burton in 2021 as an associate attorney in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate practice group. Dave’s experience covers a broad range of subject areas including litigation and arbitration, contract review and drafting, licensing, corporate law, lien law, employment law, and administrative law.
Prior to joining Thompson Burton, Dave practiced in the Nashville office of a respected construction firm, where he represented business and professional clients in disputes and transactions related to construction, infrastructure, and development. Dave also served as an Honors Law Clerk for the Securities Exchange Commission and Civil Litigation Law Clerk for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
Dave is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, and he has made Nashville his home since 2016. In his spare time, Dave enjoys live music, motorcycle riding, and rooting for an (admittedly) eclectic array of sports teams including the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Nashville Predators.
