Biography
Katelyn is an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation group, where she focuses her practice on contract litigation, franchise law, and insurance defense. She represents clients in business disputes and assists new and prospective franchisees with business formation, franchise disclosure document (FDD) review,franchise agreement negotiation, ongoing legal support, and related litigation when it arises.
With a small business background, Katelyn brings a client’s perspective to her practice, recognizing that every legal issue carries real business implications—both practical and financial. She works to make sense of complicated disputes and find a path forward, blending thorough analysis with approachable, responsive service.
Katelyn earned her J.D. from Belmont University College of Law and holds a B.A. in Spanish from Rhodes College.
She is a member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association, Nashville Bar Association, American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, Heels & Handshakes Nashville, and serves as a Board Member of the Williamson County Library Foundation. She was selected as a member of the Young Leaders Council (Fall 2024 Cohort).
When out of the office, Katelyn recharges by spending time with her family and exploring the creative small businesses community that makes Middle Tennessee unique.
