Biography

Mikayla Joyner works as a Practice Manager in one of the Firm’s elite Commercial Litigation practice groups. Her experience is vast and varied, ranging from paralegal (where she still focuses much of her time) to Content Review Specialist for a company that helped investigate missing and exploited children where her efforts over the course of a year aided approximately 400 arrests and saved approximately 70 children. Mikayla has been described as being full of energy, full of surprises, full of curiosity, and having a heart that is full of kindness and compassion. She is a Southern girl at heart and is fiercely loyal to her friends, family, and co-workers. This, combined with her insatiable demand for justice, led her to become a paralegal, which she loves. When she is not supporting her team at work, Mikayla is likely volunteering at a food bank or doing just about anything that allows her to spend time with her friends and family. And just when you think you have “Mik” figured out, she will surprise you with some of her little-known talents; like the fact that she used to sing in the choir or was a competitive swimmer who trained with Olympic gold medalists.
