

Biography
Mike Richardson is a highly seasoned and successful trial lawyer who has tried and won every type of civil case in his over 40 years of practice. Mike joined Thompson Burton in September of 2024 and is a partner in their litigation section. His wife Cindy, who is a highly skilled paralegal and managed their prior law practice, joined the firm with him and as The Richardson Team at Thompson Burton, they can handle a large variety of cases. His practice currently has an emphasis on professional negligence cases and he has tried and won million dollar jury verdicts for his clients in cases involving health care liability (medical malpractice), legal malpractice and accounting malpractice. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the last 14 years in the area of legal malpractice.
Mike has handled and tried many personal injury cases and has tried in excess of 50 car wreck cases to juries. He is currently listed in the Top 100 Best Personal Injury Lawyers in America.
Mike has also tried and continues to handle cases involving real estate litigation, commercial and business disputes and cases involving securities fraud and breach of fiduciary duties. He has tried many criminal cases, including 2 capital murder cases and continues to represent business people charged with white collar criminal activities.
