Biography
Debbie Horn is an associate attorney in Thompson Burton’s litigation practice group. She represents clients in a variety of matters, including real estate & contract litigation, employment law, and family law. Before joining Thompson Burton, Debbie worked as a Senior Manager in various restaurants, focusing on improving hospitality, streamlining business practices, and increasing profitably. Additionally, she worked as a legislative intern on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Matt Cartwright.
Debbie received her law degree from Belmont University College of Law where she was the Notes Editor of the Health Law Journal (now the Belmont Law Journal). Her note, “The Hidden Enemy on the Frontline: When Medical Professionals ChooseTheir Profession Over Their Life”, was selected for publication in the Journal. She also competed on Belmont’s Moot Court team twice at the National Moot Court Competition. Throughout her law school career, Debbie earned three CALIExcellence for the Future Awards in Legal Information and Communication I,Constitutional Law II, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Outside of the office, Debbie enjoys finding new kayaking spots with her fiancé, Jack, and playing with their two dogs.
